StreamGrid operates primarily on your device within your web browser. To deliver core functionality, we utilise local browser storage features:

• Local Storage (HTML5 LocalStorage): We store user-configured preferences, including custom channel lists and preset group names locally on your device (under the key twitch_grid_presets). This data stays entirely in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers.
• Session Data: Temporary UI state selections (such as active grid/focus mode layouts or unmuted audio toggles) exist only in your browser memory for the duration of your session.

3. Third-Party Embeds & Services

StreamGrid embeds external video streams and interactive tools supplied by third-party providers, primarily Twitch Interactive, Inc. ("Twitch").

• Twitch Interactive SDK: When viewing streams, video content is rendered directly via the official Twitch Embed JavaScript SDK. Interacting with embedded players initiates a direct connection between your web browser and Twitch's servers.
• Third-Party Cookies & Tracking: Twitch and other third-party providers may place cookies, web beacons or tracking technologies on your device to manage stream delivery, ad serving and user analytics according to their own privacy policies. We do not have access to or control over these third-party cookies.

4. Server Logs & Analytics

If you access StreamGrid via a hosted web server, standard web server access logs may automatically record routine technical details, such as:

• Your Internet Protocol (IP) address
• Browser type and version
• Referring URL and requested pages
• Time and date stamp of access

This information is strictly used for server security, performance diagnostics and protection against malicious network activity.

5. Data Control & Management

Since your channel presets and preferences are stored entirely on your device, you maintain full control over your data at all times. You can modify or purge your saved data by:

• Using the in-app "Delete Preset" function inside the Presets modal.
• Clearing your web browser's local storage/cookies for this domain through your browser settings.
